CMP (Communications Multipurpose cable, Plenum) cabling is for use in plenum areas where air is typically circulated in a building. Cables for these areas must adhere to strict manufacturing requirements, ensuring that they can be used in these spaces. We recommend using Category 6 Ethernet connectors to optimize performance and accommodate the size of the 23 AWG conductors.
